Daddy's Girl

I had the wonderful honor this week of helping to create a sweet surprise for one very special Dad, and you are going to love it! This particular little darling is the daughter of a Citadel alumni and one of the many brave men and women currently stationed in Iraq. For his return, Kendall's Mom wanted to surprise him with a portrait of their daughter taken on campus at the Citadel. And what a beautiful little girl and a beautiful day it was! I'm not sure what was shining brighter... the sunshine or her radiant smile! I just know that, onlookers and participants alike, this darling left us all with a huge smile on our faces!

As her Daddy taught her, "Put up your dukes!"

my favorite...

"TOUCHDOWN!"

Spending a little time with Kendall made it even more poignant to me just how much the men and women in the military sacrifice to serve our country and protect what we hold so dear! Thank you to all of you! Welcome home DeWalt!

Springtime in Charleston

I am thrilled to report that flowers are not the only thing blooming this spring! B. Mullinax Photography is in full bloom, and I'm more grateful than ever for the opportunity to follow my heart and do what I love! And what a lovely business it is... especially in Charleston in the springtime!

I had so much fun finishing up my session with this adorable family down at Waterfront Park! I just had to share this favorite image with you!

I'm still booking May & June sessions, so give me a shout if you're interested in booking one for your family! I have more blogging to do, more little darlings to share with you, so stay tuned...
